液体になることもあるのです。(a thing の訳がよくわからんです)

The cat had been going through these
maze like rooms for what felt like forever,
and they just seemed to be continuing.
ねこは部屋みたいな迷路を、気が遠くなるほど永いこと通り続けています。
Her owner started acting weirdly,and locked her in here.
ねこの主人はおかしなことをはじめ、ねこをここに閉じ込めたのです。
She wasn't exactly sure why he was acting like that.
ねこは、主人が何故こんなことをしているのかよくわかりませんでした。
He said that the cat reminded him of someone.
主人は「ねこがだれかを思い出させる」と言いました。
She couldn't remember who.
でも、ねこはそれがだれなのか、思い出せませんでした。

As soon as she entered the room she noticed a familiar orange triangle.
ねこは部屋に入るとすぐに、目の前にあるオレンジ色をした三角形に気がつきました。
She didn't like them.
ねこはそれが嫌いです。
Those things hurt her.
だって痛いから。
She didn't know why.
何故かはねこにもわかりません。

She noticed how the entire floor was covered with those orange triangles.
ねこは、床全体がオレンジの三角に覆われていることに気がつきました。
She certainly didn't want to fall down there.
ねこは絶対落ちたくありません。

This room seemed to be repeating itself.
この部屋は繰り返しているように思えます。
Kind of. It was similar, but different.
少しだけ。似てるけど、違う。
Finally something different.
最後は明らかに違いますね。

She saw something in the distance. Something the moved.
ねこは向こうで何かが動いたのが見えました。
She looked at the small orange rectangle going back and forth in the hole.
ねこは穴の中を行ったり来たりする、小さなオレンジの四角を見ました。
It disappeared when she jumped on it.
ねこが飛び乗ると消えました。

She saw the ocean of orange triangles...
ねこはオレンジ三角の海を見ました……
...and felt scared.
……こわい。

This room was a little bit weird, as it only went horizontally.
この部屋はちょっと変わっていて、水平方向にしか進みません。
Maybe the next room would only go vertically?
きっと次の部屋は、垂直にしか進まないんじゃないかしら？

As soon as she entered the room...
ねこは部屋に入るとすぐに……
...she noticed that she was correct.
……予想は正しかったんだと気づきました。
The one who designed this must have run out of ideas...
これを設計してる人はアイデアがもうなくなっているはず……
(垂直部屋にするってことは設計者はもうアイデアが枯渇してるのね……)

Those orange things were... jumping?
このオレンジたち……飛び跳ねているの？
That was new.
斬新ですね。
And kind of weird.
そして変わってますね。

どうしてここに留まると決めたの……？
This isn't going to help.

Doing this will only make it worse...
